Making new friends is always a delightful experience! Last night, I had the pleasure of meeting two wonderful individuals—a human and a delightful dog!  It began as a plan to take a walk, but it transformed into playtime and a simple burger meal.   All day long, I eagerly anticipated meeting Jane and Gracie. Gracie is an adorable goldendoodle. I had never had the chance to play with a goldendoodle before, let alone meet one at my home.     Of course, I don’t judge a dog based solely on its appearance; I value its personality more. However, to my surprise, Gracie was quite beautiful and brimming with an infectious zest for life. She reminded me of the time when I had even more energy than I do now.

Our wonderful neighbor dog, Winnie, also came over when Gracie first arrived, and we formed a delightful trio.  Hey! I managed to keep up with those young dogs quite well, thank you very much! The adults (including our neighbors) were watching us while they were brainstorming names for our backyard dog park?    Harmony’s Harmonious Happenings, Happy Harmony’s Home Dog Park….you get the    idea!

After the neighbors departed for a hike, we retreated indoors to prepare dinner. I was thoroughly impressed by the considerate nature of both Jane and Gracie. They respected my personal space, which made me feel comfortable. It didn’t take me long to realize that Jane had thoroughly trained Gracie to be respectful and friendly. At one point, Nancy sat on the floor to cuddle with me, but I didn’t realize her intention was for Gracie to sit by us as well. I felt a bit embarrassed that I had given Gracie my Alpha nudge to prevent her from sitting by us.

Nancy kindly informed me that she regrets not taking more photos of our wonderful evening with Gracie and Jane.  I was also informed that they will come to visit again soon.
