It’s been an incredibly interesting week for us!  From our visit to the farm last Saturday to witnessing myself floating in the clouds during a walk a few nights later, we’ve definitely felt God’s presence and protection. I understand that I’ve mentioned that my blog won’t contain political or religious views, so if this offends you, feel free to stop reading the rest.

After spending some time in the chicken barn with Dan, I started feeling overheated. Nancy and I decided to return to the farmhouse. Nancy has been writing “Farm Memories” and was searching for a specific photo. As we sifted through the old photographs, she was overwhelmed with emotions and began to cry, reminiscing about her parents.

Yes, I often find myself listening to her go on and on about various things. You can say a lot about Nancy’s idiosyncrasies, but you can’t say that she is boring, that is for sure.     Suddenly, Dan burst into the house, exclaiming, “You won’t believe it! Come and see this outside!”   There it was, a beautiful white DOVE roaming through the grass in the farm yard. It lingered and watched us until Nancy knew it was a sign that her parents and God were present.   When I was finally brought out to see it, I was so excited that as I ran to it, it flew to the top of the smokehouse.   But, no worries, it came back down to the ground when I was attached to my leash.
