I had forgotten how useful the YouTube channel could be until yesterday. Ever since we moved into our new home, Nancy has been bothered by the crud under the glass because of the awkward way to access it. She attempted to get at it once in the past and gave up. I encouraged her to give YouTube another try with Greg, who is more mechanically inclined. They were able to remove the glass. It was rather interesting to watch the process of removing the glass shelf in the fridge. But, watching them put it back in the fridge seemed to be more challenging than removing it. “Finally, that shelf is clean under the glass now!” announced Nancy.
As for me, I pondered what I would use YouTube for to look up any interesting things. Hmm, perhaps I should look up the sounds of other saxophone and bassoonists to compare Nancy’s abilities. I suppose I could look up dog tricks, although I don’t think that would genuinely interest me. I don’t feel it aligns with my intelligence. Actually, maybe I don’t need YouTube for anything. There, I will leave that to Nancy for her projects for repairs in the home, etc.
There are quite a few projects that I can already see that we need to complete this summer. I can almost smell the needed mulch that we need to buy and spread around our house. Hopfeully, they buy the mulch that smells like cedar? Yes and of course, Nancy already checked if cedar mulch is safe for me. You may already have guessed that I am NOT one of those silly dogs who would try and eat the mulch.
Here are the photos of that fridge project. Enjoy the weekend!
