Once again, just when I thought we were getting spring weather, it becomes cooler and cloudy. But at least we were able to get all the weeds out of the mulch before more mulch is brought in with Greg‘s truck. Some people would choose to use weed killer but not Nancy. She doesn’t want to risk any more chemicals that could hurt me. Besides, in between digging up weeds, she plays fetch with me in the backyard.
While I could easily look up some springtime quotes, I’ll try to express my own thoughts instead. When I observe all the plants with budding flowers, I contemplate how I can assist my humans in blooming. Prune away any useless ways, so positive ideas can sprout! Our plants by the mailbox were pruned down to almost nothing. Now, they are expanding rapidly with new blossoms (photo below).
You might assume that as a dog, I don’t ponder life. Well, hello! I write a blog about my life with humans, so I have to constantly think. Just like humans, we can’t stop thinking, even if we’re trying to avoid it. Now, think about that.
For once, I’m not overthinking my blog and will simply send it out. The photos show the flower plant when we pruned it back and now how it’s sprouting daily.
