I think that it is obvious that I tag along with my human companions as much as possible. This weekend, we visited Rockler, a woodworking store. Even though I have been there previously, I am always captivated by the aroma of wood. However, this time, not many employees seemed interested in me, allowing me to explore the store more thoroughly than in the past. Nancy is always engrossed in sanding materials for her bamboo cane reeds. I reminded her that she hasn’t yet utilized the “stuff” she had previously purchased from Rockler. Yup, even dogs like to save money so there is more money for treats!
That new furnace in the garage will be put to use today. If you missed my blog about Greg needing a heated garage for his woodturning, let me remind you. Nancy and I were being a bit selfish when we told you that it would become a bit of her “music cave” too, obviously with me to tag along. Because, hello, there is a dog bed in every room of our house, even the garage. You would think by her approaching the age of 70 that she would be done practicing saxophone. However, her words were, “Oh no, I’m starting to sound like my students!” If you don’t understand that, she says, you are truly not a musician.
You see, there’s my dog therapy and then there’s music therapy. We both could benefit from a bit of the latter because dog therapy and music therapy are performed simultaneously. Music therapy is specifically designed for this dog who provides the dog therapy. If you don’t understand that, you too need both therapies.
