This past week was a challenging at our home, but love prevailed for Valentine’s Day to arrive in grand splendor! Since my blog can be publicly accessible, you won’t find too many details about our challenging week. I was able to offer my love numerous times through all the possible avenues any loving dog could. Many people that I encountered this past week were shocked that I was not a legitmate “therapy dog.” I nudged Nancy many times to deliver her Valentine sugar cookies to many special people along the way from friends, nurses to the Costco guy loading softener salt. She noted that she ran out of her cookies and meant to deliver far more cookies.
I have always had the gift of exceptional eye contact with my loved ones. I tend to believe that when they look deep into my eyes they sense my inner peace and love. So many books are written on inner peace. I hope on this Valentine’s Day you can simply take a few deep breaths and know that I would sit with you and tell you, you are loved. I would help you see your inner beauty and encourage you to share it with others.
Time is ticking away this Valentine’s Day, so I will keep this short so I can send it out. PLEASE treasure all the people you love and tell them so. Show your love in whatever way is truly you…..yup, my eye contact each day reflects my deep love for my humans.
