People usually don’t take their dogs to an ophthalmologist, so I was left home alone today while they went to see their Ophthalmologist. It was a 128 mile round trip. Of course, they must realize that they could have at least invited me to sit in the lobby. Perhaps if I act perplexed when Nancy throws the orange ball next time, they’ll allow me to accompany Nancy to the ophthalmologist to have my eyesight checked as well?

Before they left today, Greg complained about the long drive to the ophthalmologist. Nancy, however, reassured him that it’s worth the effort to visit a reputable doctor. I can’t help but wonder why we don’t get to see my beloved breeder if the distance doesn’t matter.

By now, you can tell that I’m writing this blog while they’re away. I think they could have called the clinic and asked if they’d allow a well trained dog to accompany them today. Usually, I’m quite lighthearted, after all, my name is Harmony. I’m not sure why I’m obsessing about why they left me home alone today. No, I don’t have separation anxiety; I just like my humans.

BTW – On August 11, 2025 Nancy wanted to let all of her readers that she is trying to start a blog or e-mail titled “No Nonsense, Nancy’s Journey to Lose 20-30 Pounds: and to let us know if you want to read about her journey. It will not be included in my blog.
