Sometimes, it’s beneficial to disconnect from cable TV and the internet for a few days. Consider this: when the Peanuts and Winnie the Pooh stories were written, cable TV and the internet didn’t exist. Yet, I often find myself seeking their wisdom on the internet while writing my blog.   Now, without the internet today, (cable company maintenance)  I am left with giving you my own advice.
Last night, when Nancy returned home, she promptly gave  Greg his dinner and immediately called me to rush out and drive a mile to witness the sunset.  We were treated to another breathtaking display of clouds in front of the sun. To my surprise, we didn’t spend the usual 20 or more minutes sitting by the lake. Nancy took some photos, and we headed back home.    Before we returned home, Nancy chatted with two young boys fishing from the dock.   Not only were they really nice kids, they were having such a great time, away from technology.     I think the next time we  see some kids fishing from the dock, I want to talk to them more close-up.
Ah yes, we also had a very cool family visit us on Friday. Their two kids thoroughly enjoyed playing with me. I mean, who wouldn’t prefer playing with a dog instead of talking to adults? Think about it, every age group loves having a dog in their home if they’re home enough for one. Perhaps, I think you know why, but if not, I’ll enlighten you. I accept humans for who they truly are, not for who I wish them to be. Mistakes,  I don’t keep track of their mistakes or even notice most of them.   Always,  I am always ready to unconditionally love my humans 100%..   The best attitubute I have is my patience.
With that, I say,  have a lovely day!  Spread love and patience to all!
