Doesn’t it seem like I was just groomed? I suppose I won’t complain if I have my coat shaved down a bit. Oh my, this humidity is quite overwhelming. At least my hair doesn’t frizz up in the humidity like Nancy’s. But she can throw on a baseball cap, I can’t!
Even when it’s humid, we love summer! The humid weather is welcome by any reed players, including Nancy at our house. Yes, I do benefit when Nancy’s reeds are better too in the summer. Hello, yes I listen to her practice both saxophone and bassoon in an air conditioned house.
The other night, we heard fireworks outside, so we rushed out onto the balcony. But a neighbor’s tree blocked our view. I tried to convince Nancy to change out of her pajamas and get in the car to find the fireworks. I failed. Next year, we will note the fireworks at the end of June on our calendar. Yup, I am one of the dogs that is not afraid of noise and sparks. Well, as long as the noise and sparks stay outside.
Actually, I do like sparks that flow in our home if they are of a positive nature. Think about it….sparks for birthday candles, sparks from crackling fires and sparks from a new visitor that has a connection with me. In other words, if you sense a glimmer of a spark, help ignite it so the spark never dims or dies.
