This past week, I had the privilege of meeting one of my blog readers for the first time. I was relieved to learn that I wouldn’t be meeting him in the dentist’s chair. Instead, I was able to sit in the lobby and he greeted me between patients. For privacy reasons on the internet, I will refer to my dentist as Dr. L. I’m bursting with excitement as I write this blog entry about my recent visit to a friend’s family who owns a standard poodle. Not only did I love Bruno, their dog, but I also fell in love with all the humans I met during my visit. This summer, I’ve already met some really cool dogs during our walks. Of course, their companions are amazing too, but how often do I get to meet other dogs to play with? I suppose I should have Nancy take photos of all these encounters, but that would take away from living in the moment, wouldn’t you think? Allow me to quote A.A. While Greg is engrossed in an online woodturning event, I’ve decided to take the plunge and start my blog. We’ve been quite busy this week, moving various items from the garage to our shed. Fortunately, I’m able to accompany Nancy on her numerous trips downhill to the shed. Amidst all this organizational work, Nancy discovered her free weights. I believe some of the items she moves could be easily donated and saved from having to go to the shed….
