Happy Mother’s Day Weekend!

Happy Mother’s Day Weekend!

Drumroll, please! It’s not like you were anxiously waiting to see my spring haircut, is it?  Contrary to what some may think, I absolutely love being groomed, because I don’t get much pampering around here!  Haha! I usually don’t mind having my paw nails ground down either, except I believe Nancy purchased the incorrect sandpaper for the dremel. If I squirm excessively, she promptly stops. Our communication is quite effective, you know. I mean, I was at the Rockler store with them, so she could have at least tried it out on me before purchasing it. Oh wait, it was in a bag, so that would be rude to try it out then.

Now that I’ve had my spring haircut, I can advise my companions on their other outdoor projects. We have to do some weed killing in the rocks around our house and the firepit. Knowing them, I won’t be able to accompany them when they do the weed killing because the weed killer could spatter from any wind. I won’t wear any masks during those weed killer sprayings. The lawn mowing takes us about 2-3 hours, depending on how much I  play with Nancy.    The other project is to get a truckload of wood chips for landscaping.   Hey, its’s not my fault those wood chips seem to end up in our lawn.  Hmmmm….must be the squirrels?

It’s Mother’s Day weekend! I have a wonderful mom named Clarinet, and she lives with a fantastic family. Mother’s Day is not about me, but rather about all the Moms out there. I believe that all moms simply want to know that they are loved and appreciated.

OK, I will attempt to write my human Mom a note  for Mother’s Day now.   Happy Mother’s Day to my Human Mom and Clarinet!

As you gaze into my eyes, and I always sense our  connection.  Words aren’t our forte; we lead a simple life, which is exactly how it should be.   You sit there sipping your coffee, while I dream about what our day will involve.  Ah yes, it’s a lawn mowing day, so I must finish this blog before we spend the entire morning outdoors.  I’m incredibly grateful that we don’t have to analyze our relationship as many people do. Our love is so profound that its simplicity is too complex for most to comprehend.
