It was just yesterday that we sat on the deck while Nancy cleaned my teeth. I could have easily spent hours in her lap, basking in her care. Of course, it’s not often that one forms a bond while undergoing dental work. But I have complete trust in Nancy to ensure my safety while she skillfully removes the plaque from my teeth.

Who knew that the very next day would be almost 40 degrees cooler, with no sign of any sunshine? At least not any physical sunshine. I guess we must always remember to take advantage of each day’s offerings, because it’s not even certain that tomorrow will exist!

After our grooming session on the outdoor deck, things took an unexpected turn. Since Greg had to rush to an emergency room, they had to leave me at home. Even though they were away for six hours, it felt like 20 hours because, contrary to human perception, I genuinely worried about Greg’s health. So, I we enjoyed the rainy day and spent the entire day at home. Gosh, Nancy didn’t even do any baking. She just did laundry and nagged me to write my weekly blog.

I sure do like my companions at my home!
