Nancy’s birthday falls during the spring season. She kept reminding Greg that all she desires for her birthday is a clothes line installed outside. Who would have imagined? Apparently, some clothes lines are designed to retract, ensuring they don’t obstruct the view. If you haven’t noticed, she often takes photos of those breathtaking sunrise views from our deck. Additionally, there are numerous photos of me soaring high in the sky, attempting to catch those flying balls.
When it comes to gifts, I think most humans are like us dogs. All we really want is time with our friends and rather simple gifts. So, I suppose the other gifts Nancy requested should not surprise any of you. For her birthday, she wants time to groom me, I mean like with a bath and the whole nine yards as you say! You won’t find me complaining as it simply means more time with her. While I will never look near as pretty as when Jill (my breeder and first family) groomed me, I will cherish each moment my body is stroked with the brush, comb and finally, even the clippers. If Greg suggests to take me to a professional groomer, he could actually put a damper on Nancy’s birthday season.
Since the garage is a bit too chilly for grooming this weekend, I’ll accompany Nancy to her practice room. She still has not found an instrument repair person worthy of fixing her part copper saxophone. Trust is a significant factor. I understand this because I don’t want anyone, except Nancy and Jill, to groom me.
Happy Springtime (almost)!

Thanks, Lori! Spring is certainly trying to push through to our actual SPRING with a spring in it’s steps!
