March 14, 2025

I’ve never felt this anxious for spring to arrive and put an end to this unpredictable weather. One moment, we’re happily strolling through the trails around our home, and the next, I find myself standing at the patio door, contemplating, “I think I’ll wait.” I’m quite the motivator to tidy up the yard while we play fetch. Nancy, who had crafted our own Christmas pot, finally dismantled it when Greg exclaimed, “I believe you can disassemble that pot now!” I can’t help but wonder what she might create for the springtime display or if she’ll make an Easter pot. I gently nudged her to place the red cardinal from the Christmas pot into the birch tree. Whenever she sees a red cardinal, it reminds her of her beloved Dad who is now in Heaven.

I currently resemble a rather fluffy teddy bear. This is another sign that spring cannot arrive soon enough, as I eagerly await the chance to trim down all this excessive hair. Nancy’s brother, Mike, complimented my current appearance, which has made me embrace my long hair. After all, I do take my blog readers’ opinions into account! Mike doesn’t realize that I can understand French; however, once he discovers that I know some French as well, he might invite me to one of his numerous Zoom sessions. I understand that he conducts meetings with people from all over the world through Zoom. Pretty cool, right?

Since tomorrow’s forecast predicts heavy snowfall, we should venture outdoors soon. Moreover, I have a crucial task to contribute to: planning the Easter pot display. However, there’s a catch—I’m not permitted to enter the stores where Nancy will buy  the necessary materials.  Oh, oh, she returned home without any materials for an Easter pot. When I inquired about her predicament, she remarked, “I simply didn’t visit the appropriate stores, yet?” Then, she reassured me, “Don’t worry, Harmony, Easter is still almost a  whole month away, and I thrive under pressure!”

OK, now  I am ready for another snowstorm. Are you?
