As I was dozing off on the couch today, I was delighted to hear the cheerful songs of birds. If it weren’t for the brown grass, I would have mistaken the scene for springtime. It was then that I also recalled having my face and paws shaved yesterday, with the intention of trimming my paw toenails today. When I complained (my rare annoyance) to Nancy, she reminded me that at least I was not needing to go and donate blood….
