Happy Valentine’s Day! 2025

Happy Valentine’s Day! 2025

Happy Valentine’s Day!   I more or less figured that you perhaps pondered, if for only a brief moment, what kind of advice or ramblings I would write today?    For me, it is so easy to love because I have always been loved!  My breeder, Jill brought me into this world surrounded by constant love.   Then, well you know the rest with Greg and Nancy.    They almost smother me with love if that is even possible?    Some of you are skeptical and you still don’t think us dogs have emotions.   Don’t even suggest that to Nancy because you will be stuck listening to many of her examples of our love.

I am wholly and beautifully devoted to my companions!   Beyond my wildest dreams,  their provisions eclipse my expectations daily.  I feel rather fortunate that I am their seventh dog because they were able to filter their fiascos with any other dog before I arrived.   Constantly, I remind them of true love which is unconditional love and loyal.

Nancy says that 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 sums up love, perfectly.   “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”  Wow,   that definitely sums up love, don’t you think!?

I hope you are shown love by both your humans and pets today. Greg wanted some Valentine sugar cookies, so below shows what Nancy made yesterday for him, friends and music students.  She will be giving 95% away, because she is not about to mess up her diet this time.   Don’t worry, I keep telling her that I love her no matter what her size is!  Sugar cookies happen around here and if you want some, speak up now!
