December 18, 2024, The Ten Days of Christmas, Day 3
On this Day 3 of my Ten Days of Christmas, let me remind you to get plenty of rest and relaxation during the Christmas season. As you can see, I enjoy this mini pillow that Nancy found at an estate sale last year. To say that I love it is an understatement. Actually, I share it with Greg around our nap times. I think there is a market for this size pillow. Since Nancy has been looking for a new pillowcase and even another pillow without any luck. I am not that particular about my pillows. Part of me started using it in appreciation of the gift she brought home, barely ever used if at all. At night, I don’t use a pillow because I sleep on their bed and the comforter is already soft. YES, I have never slept anywhere, except on their bed since we moved here.
I don’t need to tell any of you that rest does not always have to be in the form of sleep. Mastering the art of relaxation definitely is one of my specialties. Do you know that when Nancy brushes me, cleans my ears or teeth or just hangs out with me, she considers it all relaxation? If you even question that, let me invite you over to experience my low-key, lighthearted and relaxed existence. Sorry, but Nancy does not rent or loan me out to homes to help with your relaxation. (Hmmmmmm….but, that is not a bad idea, now is it?) She says you can’t even put a price on my value anyway.
Whatever form of rest and/or relaxation you choose, may it leave you feeling refreshed and energized to continue this beautiful Christmas season. OK, I am going to go take a nap right now. Sweet dreams!
