Yesterday, I had the privilege to ride along to the city for various errands. I mean, really, if you had a choice to be in your cave at home or be given the whole backseat of the car, wouldn’t you choose to drive into the city as well? Besides, it’s not like I was restricted to the backseat for the whole trip. I had various places that I was allowed to enter.
I find it rather interesting to scope out the humans that I encounter. While I was unable to enter the Dental Clinic, I was informed that they are very cool people. I did enjoy walking around their parking lot and sitting at their picnic table. I suppose if I had to work in human mouths all day long, I would need a place outside to breath some fresh air too! After we dropped Greg off for another appointment, we entered a bank lobby full of people. While I don’t expect people to gush all over me in a bank, they did just that….gush is an understatement. Nancy always gives Jill (my breeder) the credit for my impeccable behavior. Sure, she trained me; but, I would never be so calm and collected in public places if I was not in a continued positive environment at home.
Since it was a such a gorgeous day, I was able to convince them to go home ASAP. I managed to dodge having my paw toenails ground down. However, I sense grooming is in the air this weekend? Oh please, I want my fluffy tail to return soon. I know she wasn’t trying to hide the fact that I am a standard poodle and “HELLO” a puffy tail is one thing I even insist on. That mistaken shaved tail did seem to bring me some new yummy treats, just saying!
OK, you can see my tail, both short and the shaggy tail (at least long)!
