Tonight, I would like to share with you my surroundings on this mid-September evening. I want you to imagine that you are sitting on the deck with me as I type my blog. I would tell you all about how I played fetch with Nancy while she finally mowed the lawn. You would probably say something like, “ah, it looks beautifully manicured for another few weeks.”
But, then I would ask you, how are you really doing as I looked deep into your soul. It would be easy to divulge your heart because the moon, soon to be full moon, would be slowly rising over the old golf course. The white wisps of clouds would scatter far off in the east with hints of pink and purple. Soon, we would not even have to speak anymore for the scenery had captivated our thoughts.
It would soon become evident that the serene peaceful state before us would never be taken for granted, nor should it be. The moon was a perfect circle with almost a clear blue sky. The winds were far more apparent now while the chimes were fiercy working to be free to chime. Some of us at our house, do not like chimes! In the far off distance, a plane’s lights vanished as if it knew we dissappoved of the interruption on a stage so polished. This moon that we were experiencing did not need any words. Inhale, exhale and repeat!
