Lately, I seem to get stuck around a tree  when I am checking out the smells of the neighbor dog.  Instead of a fenced in back yard or an invisible fence, I am placed on a long rope. I tend to get stuck with my rope tangled around a tree.   Today,  once again my rope became tangled around a tree.  After I waited for which seemed to be an eternity, I figured out how to get myself unwrapped around the tree.  Finally, I arrived at the door to go back inside the house.     Nancy actually said to me, “I knew you are  smart enough to figure out how untangle yourself from that tree!”

How often have you known how to fix a problem yourself, but either someone else rushes to your rescue prematurely or you don’t have the confidence to GO FOR IT!?    When was the last time you accomplished something you thought you could never accomplish? Some habits from our humans tend to rub off on their pets.   Never, never tell Nancy she can not do something!   So, she has taught me the same lesson, you can do anything if you keep persevering.  OK, so figuring out how to go around a tree when my rope was stuck does not seem so hard to you?   Everyone has their own challenges!

You may ask me, this dog, “So what are your challenges, anyway?”  I was  given the name Harmony for a reason!  My mission is be be harmonious with all those that I encounter.   My challenge is only with those that are not dog people that may visit.   When I encounter such humans, I do not judge them for everyone has their own challenges.  Besides, I may be the dog that changes their outlook on dogs?!

Flash alert just in for today.  Since Nancy is out of sugar, she is planning to make these homemade  peanut butter dog treats  for me, instead of blueberry muffins for humans?
