Hello to all my blog readers!  Thank you to those of you who replied “YES” to being included in my e-mail list.   Most definitely, I don’t want to impose any  interruptions during your day if  not requested, hence the bit of a survey.  One person replied that they would rather hear from Nancy than  from me.   At first I was a bit offended until I snapped out it realizing that not everyone gets me or my blog.  That is OK!  (Besides, many of you are aware that I occasionally   allow Nancy’s input  into my blogs.)

What was I thinking to have  blogs of ten days of anything? Like my companions, I am most certainly a spontaneous creature.   For this reason, I was eager to jump at the opportunity to travel to the family farm this past weekend.   So often, we just abandon any other plans and go to the farm where I can run seemingly forever and rarely tire out.

Contrary to what humans experience, us dogs don’t plan ahead for events.  This past weekend however, I was thrilled that I was able to go on two new exciting adventures.   Not only did I get to run a lot at the farm, I accompanied them to Nancy’s cousin’s sawmill.  The cedar wood sawdust was a new aroma to me and I relished in it while we were there.

Then, on Sunday I was able to attend an amazing outdoor  concert put on by 3rd Elephant.     I think I was just as impressed as Nancy  by their concert and that says a lot because she  is quite a music snob.    At that event, I fortunately I remembered to have a photo taken of the fabulous concert.
