Day 10: Ten Days of Listening to Your Pet’s Wisdom and Advice
Here we finally arrive at Day 10 of Ten Days of Listening to Your Pet’s Wisdom and Advice. As I state in the past blogs, they are not in any particular order of importance. Actually, much of the wisdom and advice may not inspire you. Perhaps, some may come off as shallow or trivial. Remember, it is only a blog written by a dog simply to aid in reminding you to remain lighthearted.
Seek joy, peace and love each day in your unique circumstances. Choose to walk away (or in my case, prance away) from those that you sense do not promote joy in your life. Of course, unless you are urged to plant joy in their lives. Always remember, that if you can strive to grow through tumultuous times, your joy will sound far louder than any previous attempt to sway you off a healthy path.
I have pondered many days now and restarted this paragraph multiple times. Then, I ran across a quote that sums it all up. “The things that truly bring us joy are rarely things.” Joshua Fields Millburn Most certainly, I enjoy playing fetch, going on walks and seeing beautiful scenery; but, those things that truly bring me joy are exactly seeing my humans be full of joy, peace and love. They play fetch with me and go on walks with me because it all originates with their love for me. I suppose when I think about how I seek joy, it is how I long to see my humans joyful. Us dogs are way cool that way! We learned a long time ago to think about others, before ourselves and that leads so many to joy.

I was waiting for day 10! And what a finale – I absolutely love the quote. You’re such a wise dog Harmony. When I think of the moments that bring me joy, I also think of people and laughter. I love the picture of pure joy and thank you for continuing to inspire us!
