Day 9: Ten Days of Listening to Your  Pet’s Wisdom and Advice

My day nine advice for   Ten Days of Listening to Your  Pet’s Wisdom and Advice   is to be an ENCOURAGER.   Whatever your weaknesses or obstacles are, you can always find the power of hope to encourage!  I got this idea from Susie Larson’s  quote “Therefore I’ll put NO confidence in my weakness or my obstacles, but I’ll put my hope………”  I think I excel at this advice to encourage my companions all the time to have hope, and to never give up.

Do you know what it is like to live with someone trying to lose (once and for all), those covid pounds?  Since I am slim and trim, I am actually a constant reminder for them to be exercising and eating well.  Pretty simple to ENCOURAGE just by prancing around them to show them that they can shed those unwanted pounds.   It sure didn’t help Nancy when she made almost twenty dozen of her lemon crinkle and chocolate chocolate chip cookies.    That should have been a no brainer to not have all those cookies around.  OK, so she is giving a lot of those away for National Night Out in neighborhoods, but seriously, what was she thinking?

Actually, I have a whole list of  my attempts to persuade and encourage my friends at my home.  I need to encourage them not only on eating well, but living well too.  You know, perhaps I should throw the ball for them to run after instead of me fetching the ball?  Hmmmm…..I am glad that I thought of that one!  Can’t you just hearing me barking them on in my cheers.

OK, go out and be AN ENCOURAGER today and this week!

  1. Harmony, you’re so funny. I’m laughing out loud at the idea of us humans fetching a ball. The visual! Also, if ONLY we could be satisfied not eating the sugar! And to be good about eating only twice a day like most healthy dogs do…and no dipping into the candy or cookie jars. Just saying. But the ball. So funny.
