Happy Mother’s Day, May 11, 2024
Since we are hosting Mother’s Day at our home, I feel it is only appropriate that I honor my own Mom for Mother’s Day weekend. My Mom, Clarinet lives with my sister, Stella in Minnesota. In the photo, my Mom has the blue bow around her neck. As you can see from the photo, their groomer (Jen) is a far better groomer than Nancy. Oh, us dogs don’t compare, though I know that humans have that common fault. We fervently love each other in our home. My Mom, Clarinet came from a lovely breeder and her first home was with Jill L.
Actually, I was hoping to be finished being groomed for our guests by Mother’s Day. Like usual, I will have to impress them with my charming personality instead of my ungroomed coat. Maybe this summer I could go visit my Mom and sister at Jen’s house and she could give Nancy suggestions on grooming. The scissoring on Clarinet (my Mom) and Stella is impeccable. Most importantly, they both look very content.
If Jen is reading this blog, please tell Mom thanks for being a great and loving Mom. I think that is what most Moms want to hear on Mother’s Day, right?! Like my companion Mom, we both never had children so we can’t empathize with any Moms out there. Wonderful Moms have to raise us and eventually set us free to a new home.
So, Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms reading this. May you feel loved and appreciated by all of your offspring!
