Today, we got up early, as we usually do.   Like other days, we love to watch the sunrise. On this day, we were hoping to mow the lawn before the rainy day began.   The gorgeous sunrise gave us hope that we would get the lawn mowed, before the rain.   After my breakfast and  barely after my first nap, I heard the pitter patter of the rain and saw  our gray horizon.  Our morning of mowing was snatched away before our eyes and ears.

Isn’t it interesting how the day began with such a beautiful sunrise?  Yes, we could choose to dwell on that sunrise, instead of the gray sky trying to squish our mood.  I think you may guess where this  blog  is going?   Yup, I have to listen to Nancy ramble on  and on about the rainy days in Paris.  I was finally given a chance to interject my suggestion when she stopped to inhale  between sentences.  To my benefit,  I have established my respect around here, so she listens to me.   My recommendations were not so grandiose or even so wise, they were simply this.  Well then, now we have excuses to skip both lawn mowing and dog bathing.

Did I just say dog bathing?    Oh no, I just gave Nancy the idea to shave my face and paws before she gives me a bath after the rainy days.  Now you see why this dog chooses to keep my thoughts to myself most days.   Even though I don’t always divulge my thoughts, how does she know that I was thinking about those yummy treats I am out of from Chewy? The printer revealed her order from Chewy includes a variety of balls, scissors and yup, there they are, TREATS!    Interesting,  a new pink dog tag too.

Now, back to napping!
