Ten Days of Random Kindness: Day One
Ten Days of Random Kindness: Day One
Perhaps you may recall when I did my Ten Days of Gratitude. Now, I have decided to do Ten Days of Random Kindness. How can we all make each others lives better by doing some random acts of kindness? For starters, the most obvious is take time to talk to someone and really listen to how they are? I don’t mean sending a text or e-mail, I mean actually talking to someone.
I love when Nancy calls me over to sit and chat each day. While I admit, I often wonder if I am going to get me ears or teeth cleaned. I am always relieved when it really is our chat time. It is often just my cuddle time to chat with Nancy and that is kindness for both of us. Sure, she babbles on and on and I tell her, it will all be OK.
Just think about this. Us dogs live to be 1-16 years old and you humans live to be anywhere from 1-100. Do you ever wonder why that is? I think it is because we are born to be kind to our humans and it is “a natural” for us to live out our kindness mission in a shorter time frame. Now why can’t humans figure out kindness? Start by talking, in kindness! P.S. The kindness in listening will be in the 10 Days of Random Kindness too!
