Happy Valentine’s Day: February 14, 2023
Happy Valentine’s Day to all of my readers! You are right, to me it is just another day; but, I decided since you are so sweet to read my blog, I would send out a Valentine’s Day greeting. If you read my blogs, I know you are so very patient with my ramblings about humans and life from a standard poodle’s perspective. You know, I love my humans and you too! My Valentine’s advice, let me just say love each other lavishly! Yup, you heard me right, love lavishly.
Recently, Nancy wasn’t feeling inspired to making her Valentine sugar cookies. To solve this, she actually asked the question on facebook of all places that read like the following. “If I get 100 likes, I will make these Valentine cookies.” But, she only had like 53 likes. Not to my surprise, her 💕 (heart) won over her silly poll on facebook. Of course, it was a no brainer when Greg said he wanted her to make the cookies too.
From this dog’s perspective, I think far more humans should listen to their heart more often. Do you want to know how I love my humans in this house? I listen and I listen to their hearts. I look into their hearts and when their hearts don’t seem to speak, I help them understand their hearts. It really is that simple. I listen and I love lavishly no matter where they are at each and every day and they know my love is so so secure.
Happy Valentien’s Day! Now, do you want a cookie? (HA!)

Hope you had a *very* Happy Valentine’s Day! Wow, Nancy’s cookies are like such a beautiful artwork, each one unique. And I’m sure they taste as great as they look! I think you should convince her to make such beautiful cookies for dogs, Harmony! We know how much owners like to treat their pups, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she could even start a business with such a venture. If they look and taste as wonderful as the human cookies look, I’m sure they’d be in great demand!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and hope you can get out and enjoy False Spring #2 before winter comes roaring back later this week!
I never cease to be amazed at the beautiful cookies Nancy makes – and so many of them. I find rolled cookies to be extremely frustrating and tedious and I so admire her persistence and the wonderful results. I wish I had one right now but happy Valentine’s day to all who will get to enjoy them. Awesome work, Nancy.
Happy Valentine’s Day Mary! I wish you lived closer to us so we could deliver you some of her cookies…you are so sweet and we hope you have a lovely week! Harmony & Nancy
