Happy New Year! 2022

Happy New Year! 2022

Today, I have decided to take a break and have Nancy write my blog for me.   Even us dogs need a break once in awhile!    So, let me present one of my constant companions, Nancy.

Let me start out by wishing you a Happy New Year.  To our precious Harmony, one day or one year to the next is not so different; but to us humans,  we tend to reflect  far too often on our accomplishments for the year.  As I grow older, my accomplishments certainly seem more trivial.     I don’t think it is a secret to any of Harmony’s  blog readers that Harmony really has continued to help me keep my positive  perspective.   Sure, I still want to record my original works for saxophone, all at the same time breathing the sounds I hear in my head with the tone that must not vanish.   But, at the end of the day, it may not be the most important goal without keeping my mission to touch many through the sounds of saxophone.

I am already feeling like Harmony should never  have persuaded me to write her blog. Harmony has the ability to not over think anything; thus, keeping this blog lighthearted.  But, I am afraid that without Harmony’s paws  pushing the keys, the blog will become a bit too heavy-hearted.    Harmony really understands that life is not that complicated.   We should simply look for the best in the people that surround us.  It is Harmony that reminds me every single day to listen far more and keep my mouth closed far more often as well.  I am very fortunate to travel with so many beautiful people and dogs during this journey on earth.    I am so so blessed to have the unique job of writing about life through a dog’s perspective, to keep it lighthearted.

    1. Happy New Year, Chuck! We sure enjoy seeing photos and news of your adorable grandson, Charlie!

  1. Happy New Year Nancy & Harmony (and Greg too!)! Wishing you a wonderful, peaceful, healthful new year. Lightheartedness is especially needed in our world right now, and there’s always positive things to be found if we look to notice them. Thank you for helping us see the lighthearted side of life!

    1. Happy New Year, Dana and your awesome family! We treasure all of your beautifully written comments all year. You certainly add so much to the Lighthearted mission of this blog. Thank you so much!

  2. Happy New Year to all at your household, Nancy! You are very good at over-thinking as you really get to heart of things. Some of us are just too superficial to accomplish that! Here’s hoping that 2022 is a far better and more positive year than we have seen in recent memory. We all need a little more light-heartedness and a little less gloom, doom and fear going forward. Thanks for helping that along. Our dogs sure help if we pay attention to how they live and see things. Makes much more sense they way they do it, I think.

    1. Happy New Year to you and your household as well, Mary! Thanks for reading Harmony’s blogs and your wonderful comments all year. Hope to see you in 2022!
