October 30, 2021

Today, most of the day, I spent outside  enjoying the  gorgeous day!   I was the supervisor while Nancy backpack blew more leaves.    Of course, I was able to distract her often to throw the orange ball for me.   She had her AirPods in to cut out the noise of the loud machine.  It must have been some beautiful music because she was singing and dancing while working.  So, if you think I  am strange because I (a dog) writes the blog from this home, you have not yet met Nancy!

After our short walk this morning, she informed me that my toenails need grinding.   Now, isn’t that just what you wanted to read about?   OK, so I don’t have a lot that I can divulge in this blog today, so I am grasping for anything! Oh, and yesterday,  I had my face and paws shaved.    I am sure that all of you like your “spa” days?!   Around here, it doesn’t matter what I am doing with Nancy & Greg,  the companionship is enough.    How about all of you, what do you like doing with the people in your home?

I guess I can tell you that the oven is being preheated for baking cookies.    I hope she makes me those dog treats too.   It has been quite some time since I nudged her to pull out those dog treat baking pans.    Right, I am not a high maintenance dog!  A high maintenance dog would have begged for those treats months ago.  Rumor has it that I also get to visit some friends when Greg delivers a bowl he turned for  a wedding gift.   I love it when their friends are my friends too!

  1. Hope you had a wonderful Halloween and that it was filled with tasty dog cookies! The bowls that Greg makes are absolutely gorgeous – what fun to see creativity and craftsmanship on display. Wishing you a wonderful week to enjoy any last color that’s still left!

  2. Such fun to hear the thoughts and wisdom of this dog! Thanks for the scoop on Nancy from yesterday. Happy Halloween!
