July 13, 2021: Left At Home

I am not certain why I was unable to tag along to the Subaru appointment  today; but, I am choosing to think the best of Nancy anyway!!  After all, most of you are aware that I am like,  attached to her, right?!
If I may, let me write about how you humans choose to react to your circumstances. Take for instance today, Nancy informed us that they messed up her appointmentt today even though she scheduled it weeks ago.  Good thing she remembered my wise advice, to chill out.  It is just a car, period! By the way she said she did not bring me because there weren’t nice dog trails to walk around the Subaru dealer.  Whatever, have you ever known me to be fussy about where I walk?

I wonder sometimes why us dogs are wired so differently than you humans?   Then, of course, there is the issue of why humans are wired so differently from  other humans too.  Oh my, maybe that is why Nancy did not take me to the Subaru appointment?  There may have been some people that don’t like dogs and therefore, they may have said unkind words?    I could take mean comments about myself because I am wired to let things go. But Nancy, don’t even get me started as to how she may react if someone gives me even a disapproval look!  You must be glad that  I keep my blogs short so  not to  expound on all of the above!

Now, as I sit at home on a very hot and humid day, I am so glad our content life, is noncomplex.   Simplicity is rather profound when you think about it.  I have even read that simplicity is harmonious! It is quite obvious that my name originated from a simple desire for me to create Harmony wherever I am.

  1. Oh Harmony, I know it’s frustrating to not be able to go with everywhere Nancy goes. I remember telling our kids that there just isn’t enough time to be able to do everything! And honestly, sometimes we all need to rest, even when (and sometimes especially when) we don’t want to. That rest and space fills the bucket so we can “chill out” when things don’t go exactly as planned. When life gets too complicated, I think simplicity is always the best technique for recovering from feeling overwhelmed. Your desire for harmony is one we should all strive for every day. And I love the thoughtful demonstration of pure harmony in the picture 🙂 Have a wonderful week!
