I wonder what Louie would do when he really did not feel like writing his weekly blog? Perhaps I should have paid more attention to his blog duties? I certainly never thought I would inherit his blog writing task one day. This makes me think of a blog subject after all. Sometimes, even as a dog, we have no idea how our past experiences can prepare us for today. So you say, no way can a dog’s past experiences aid humans in their day to day events? Take me for instance, who would have known that after years of dog training as a show dog, I would have the opportunity to travel to new places because of my good behavior? (Yes, thanks to my breeder/trainer, Jill L.)
Whether I am sitting under the table at Nancy’s Mom home or accompanying Nancy to teach her music lessons, I really am a low maintenance dog. Ah, there it is, low maintenance dogs and people. I am sure by now you are thinking of dogs or humans that you know who are high maintenance, right? Just because I need a lot of walks and playtime, does not make me high maintenance, just keeps my humans healthy and happy. I wake up long before the sun rises with Nancy to have our quiet space because she claims that helps her to stay low maintenance. It is our understanding that first hour every morning, NO TALKING, just silence.
You probably are wondering why I don’t work on my blog during those early morning hours? Let me remind you that in order to keep Louie’s tradition of LightheartedLouie, I have to remain lighthearted myself. Just like humans, us dogs need to learn to prepare for the day ahead of us. To think, I was wondering what to write about this week? Now, I am suggesting that all of you try the lighthearted concept for your life as well. For starters, just google “lighthearted” and you too will soon be feeling less anxious for your week ahead (I hope)!
