March 28, 2020: Sleepless Nights
Sometimes I canโt sleep which is odd for a dog, right?! Yup, I too think of all the things I could of or should have done and then I end up in a conundrum. It is quite ๐ silly how this affects my sleep! I toss and turn and wake up my owners who direct me outside thinking I need to do my duties? But, of course that still leaves me sleepless? I finally fall asleep ๐ด this time dreaming of Serenade.

Now, more than ever, I am quite certain there are many humans who are losing sleep over the coronavirus outbreak in the world. I am only aware of this because of the news on TV. To my advantage, my owners are home regularly and that also means, far more walks. I would strongly recommend that all of you get out and walk/run during this time since that is one remedy for sleepless nights. I never “count sheep” to fall asleep, because why would I count sheep? Instead, I count imaginary balls flying toward me and eventually, I get so dizzy that I fall back asleep.

I suppose I sound rather incoherent with less sleep last night, so I won’t write much today. I think today I will watch some of that “Anne with an E” of Green Gables with my owners. I might also listen to my owner play saxophone – yup, that does put me to sleep for sure!
