January 24, 2020

Sometimes, I have no idea what I should write about on my blog. I find myself tapping on the keyboard as if to think it may just act like one of those player pianos and the words will just flow automatically. But, tonight is one of those nights that I can really say, I don’t have anything that I feel like sharing with all of my readers. This Lighthearted Louie does not always feel lighthearted after all.

It is times like this that it is simply OK to simply say hello to my readers and wish you all a happy day/weekend! I won’t tell you about the long grooming session my older sister Serenade had to endure with Nancy today. Nor, will I tell you about the research I did for hours on my ailing problems of being an older dog. Nope, I won’t even try to find you a joke so at least you will laugh while you read my blog. Instead, I will borrow some words of wisdom from someone Nancy loves to quote, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” by C.S. Lewis.

Speaking of dreams, I think this is it for my blog this week and I need to go sleep and dream a bit now. Hope you keep dreaming and I will hopefully have some lighthearted words for next week.

  1. Happy day to you Louie! Being an older dog is rough, isn’t it? Ike can completely relate being nearly 12, but it hasn’t slowed him down too much. So who are you rooting for in the Super Bowl this weekend? Ike & I are big Kansas City Chiefs fans, so we’re really hoping they can pull off a win. It should be a great game, and we’re hoping for some good commercials too, and are hoping for a new one with “mayhem” the man who plays different roles that create mayhem for drivers in the All State insurance commercials. We’re chuckling just thinking about those! We hope your weekend was filled with happiness and many dreams and enjoy the week ahead! Go Chiefs!
