Here we go again with yet another day of partying for so many humans. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all you Irish humans. I was inquiring with Nancy about the Irish and I got an earful about her Irish friends she met while studying in Paris years ago. She claims that they were a key component in helping her relax while studying saxophone in France. While it is true that they know how to party (according to Nancy), they are also some of the kindest people on the earth.
So, this lead me to research the Irish Setter and the Irish Wolfhound. I did learn that the Irish Wolfhound has quite a short life expectancy of only 6 to 8 years; whereas, the Irish Setter’s life span is from 12 to 15 years. Not that anyone would pick a breed by their life expectancy, but isn’t it usually by about the age of 5, that us dogs finally are figuring out our human owners? But, today it is all about the Irish! Oh golly, let’s just celebrate all because the quote I chose of Rita McEntire’s is from a surname that is actually Scottish.
