Whoa, and you thought that you were the only one crazy busy, so busy that you barely have time to use the bathroom?  Well, you guessed it, I am extremely busy with our lovely guest, Harmony (owned by a dear friend,  Jill Lurye).   It is all good though, she is allowing me to train her in the ways of this household; she is an intelligent and sweet (I know, imagine that, both traits!).    Take for example this very minute, she is laying right next to me while I type this overdue blog.    She must know that I am typing about her because she keeps looking at me as if to ask, “What can we do now Louie? Are you done typing yet?”

Have you ever had a friend who does the same job or hobby as you and they allow you to feel like you are better than them, just to not prance on your territory?   Well, that is exactly what Harmony does!    She is so much faster than me, yet she allows me to fetch the ball FIRST sometimes, just to be polite and sweet.   Simply put, the breeder,  Jill Lurye, www.musiquestandardpoodles.com, of Harmony is so good, that Harmony is not only beautiful, her character is humble and kind.   I tell you, she could pounce on me outside and leave me feeling like why try to catch the next ball; but rather, she keeps me engaged to play and run with her.   Ok, so seriously, I once was just as fast as her and my puppy memories will never escape me.

So, I won’t have any excuse in these next months for not blogging because there is no lack of subject matter with Harmony around.  I may not write about my sister Serenade often, but trust me, she too is the best companion.  You should see her with Harmony!   Serenade continues to  “goes with the flow” wherever she is, never complaining or talking too much.    You gotta love that in any girl, right?!   Did I just say that?    Whatever you do this week, make everyone feel they are important, just like Harmony has done for us!
